Q. How are your prices so low? A. At Dress Code Formal we design and manufacture our own bridesmaid dresses, evening gowns, prom dresses, and special occasion gowns and we sell them to you directly at wholesale prices. See DCF's Quality Assurance. -back to top-
Q. Is there a charge for sales tax? A. It is our pleasure to say there is no sales tax on our dresses. Since our warehouse is in New Jersey, Residents of New Jersey will pay tax on accessory items only. -back to top-
Q. How do I place an order? **How do I place a bridesmaid dress order?
A. If it's your first order:
1. Browse each of our categories and select a product you would like to view in greater detail
2. Once you are on a product page, you can click on the various tabs to help decide on the right color and size. Once you have chosen your specifications, you can "add to bag".
3. Follow the easy to use links on the page to add additional sizes or colors, continue shopping, or proceed to checkout.
If you are a returning customer:
1. Log into your account using your email address and password.
2. Once in your account you can view your favorite styles and your order status.
3. Browse each of our categories and select a product you would like to view in greater detail
4. Once you are on a product page, you can click on the various tabs to help decide on the right color and size. Once you have chosen your specifications, you can "add to bag".
5. Follow the easy to use links on the page to add additional sizes or colors, continue shopping, or proceed to checkout.
If you would prefer to place your order offline, you may download our printer-friendly order form and then fax or mail in your order with appropriate payment.
**For Bridesmaid Dress Orders we suggest: Decide on a style of dress (you can use our email a friend or share your ideas on Facebook, MySpace, etc.) Then, you should have each bridesmaid decide on her size according to the Dress Code Formal sizing guide. Once everybody has decided on their sizes and specifications, we suggest that you order all of the dresses together, under one order. Ordering multiples of the same style dress at the same time, in the same order, is the best way to guarantee that all of your dresses are cut from the same roll of fabric and completed at the same time.

Q. Can I place my order over the phone? A. Unfortunately, we cannot accept orders over the phone. To avoid errors, ensure we get your order correct, and to keep our prices low, you must enter your order yourself.. Q. What payments methods do you accept? How secure is your website? A. We accept all major credit cards and Pay Pal. Our website and ordering process is as safe and secure as possible. We use the most advanced security software currently available for online transactions. We also accept checks and money orders on mail-in orders only. Q. Will all of my bridesmaid dresses be the same shade? What are dye-lot variations? A. If you special order any number of bridesmaid dresses or special occasion gowns of the same style, within the same order, they will be cut from the same roll of fabric. That means they will be the same shade of color. Dye-lot variations refer to the slight differences in shade between rolls of fabric dyed at different times. We recommend ordering all bridesmaid dresses of the same style and color at the same time, within one order, to ensure the perfect wedding photos! -back to top-
Q. What is the delivery time for orders? A. Special orders for bridesmaid dresses and some special occasion dresses and evening gowns are estimated at 10-12 weeks delivery. Rush delivery of an estimated 6-7 weeks is also available for an additional fee. Stock of prom dresses, evening gowns and special occasion dresses are available for immediate delivery. Due to high demand, your size and/or color may not be available to ship immediately, but the date it will be available to ship will be displayed. Dates displayed are dates when your order will leave our warehouse. UPS standard delivery is 3-10 business days depending on your location. Upgrades for UPS delivery are available during checkout for an additional charge. Please see individual styles for more accurate, up-to-date delivery availability. Although delivery dates are estimates, it is our goal at Dress Code Formal to always ship on or before schedule. -back to top-
Q. Who is your courier? Do you deliver to PO boxes? A. We use UPS as our courier and we cannot deliver to PO boxes. -back to top-
Q. How can I find out when you will receive replacement stock on items that are sold out? A. Some of the items on our website do sell out quickly, but we replenish our stock regularly and the date the item will be available to ship should display clearly once you select your item specifications, such as size and color. -back to top-
Q. How can I see a swatch of a certain color? A. On the product page, you will see a "color" tab which will provide you with information on what colors the particular style is available in. Although we do our best to represent our colors accurately, some variation may occur due to differences in computer monitors. If you have time, you can order color swatches in our accessories section or by clicking the order swatch icon on product pages. There is no shipping charge for swatch requests. -back to top-
